We are proud to now be able to
offer Guinean Lenké djembes. Lenké wood is famous for it's excellent acoustic properties and it's the preferred hardwood choice
for many djembe masters such as Famadou Konaté. It is also a very durable and smooth wood when carved which benefits
the lifespan of a drum. Our Guinean drum carvers regularly bring shells from prime cuts of selected wood and complete
the drums in our Dakar workshop.
