We offer beautiful sounding, handcrafted , decorated koras made from either 'Bois rose' or 'Dimbah' wood . They come in two sizes , standard or large , depending on the size of the calabash. The koras are full size 21 string models.Tunings can be found here along with other kora resources www.kora-music.com as well as a free tuition download. Excellent tool for beginners and experienced players alike.

The wooden peg models were developed as an alternative to the traditional leather rings which many western players find troublesome (if not impossible!) Even tuning with the wooden pegs requires a degree of patience , (which is why we also offer the chrome machine head version)
