Pro 'Senegalese' Djembe

These are wonderful instruments, carved in the unique "wine glass" shape found only in Senegal, of seasoned, very dense Dimba wood.

Up to 36 pairs of verticals means the drum is tuned very tight and will hold it's tuning well. In general our Senegal djembes have a wonderfully rich sound, semi-dry, very high, clean slaps, solid tones, and big bass response because of the way the sound reverberates insode the elongated bowl and is expelled through the flared trumpet ended stem.
