The 'Bambara' model has evolved from the Malian carvers influence on Senegalese drum styles. It has a distinct ribbed stem with a unique flared end of a different style to the 'Senegalese' model

Like the other models in the Trade Afro range it is made by our master craftsmen in Dakar from dimba wood , the same high quality non stretch cord and thick goatskin head cranked up under pressure from 36 pairs of verticals.
