Pro Malian Lenké djembe

We are pleased to be able to offer Malian djembes from Lenké wood carved in our partner's Malian workshop outside Bamako and finished here in Dakar. This enables us to quality control the wood before the drum is sent to the customer and ensure the same high quality heading and finishing found on the dimba drums in the tradeafro range.

Malian Lenké wood is less dense and easier to carve , leaving a smooth interior. The sound hole is usually very wide enabling a nice thobbing bass tone with high end slaps and tones still maintaining their bite.
